Graduate Businessprograms only.FRENCHFREN 1314, 1324 Beginning French ProficiencyFocus is on achieving beginning proficiency in communication in French developing theskills of listening, speaking, reading, writing, viewing, and showing in the interpersonal,interpretive and presentational communicative modes and on acquiring an initialknowledge and understanding of cultures of the French speaking world. Students learnto use and understand the language necessary for expressing basic needs, wants, andcourtesies. They practice vocabulary and structures for meeting immediate survivalneeds.
