Through the school’s DiscoverDance educational outreach program, first- and second-gradestudents experience classical music, are introduced to fundamentals of ballet, explore therelationship between music and movement, develop good physical exercise habits, and life-longlearning skills. This program is made available at no cost to participating schools.CPYB enriches the diverse Carlisle community and surrounding area through its MasterSeries,which exposes patrons to the experience and talent of some of the world’s most accomplisheddancers, choreographers, teachers, and coaches. Where OpenRehearsal gets the audience “upclose” to watch the athleticism and beauty as the CPYB troupe prepares for an upcomingperformance, InSights enriches the theatre-goers outing through interactive, pre-performanceQ&As. In addition, CPYB’s Storybook Ballet Series provides a continuing repertory that attractsand introduces children to the world of ballet.Giving OpportunitiesTicket revenues and tuition provide more than half of CPYB’s annual operating resources.
