Through the school’s DiscoverDance educational outreach program, first- and second-gradestudents experience classical music, are introduced to fundamentals of ballet, explore therelationship between music and movement, develop good physical exercise habits, and life-longlearning skills. This program is made available at no cost to participating schools.CPYB enriches the diverse Carlisle community and surrounding area <strong>through</strong> its MasterSeries,which exposes patrons to the experience and talent of some of the world’s most accomplished<strong>dance</strong>rs, choreographers, teachers, and coaches. Where OpenRehearsal gets the audience “upclose” to watch the athleticism and beauty as the CPYB troupe prepares for an upcomingperformance, InSights enriches the theatre-goers outing <strong>through</strong> interactive, pre-performanceQ&As. In addition, CPYB’s Storybook <strong>Ballet</strong> Series provides a continuing repertory that attractsand introduces children to the world of ballet.Giving OpportunitiesTicket revenues and tuition provide more than half of CPYB’s annual operating resources.
