p4 changeField Name Type DescriptionStatus: Read-only value pending, submitted, or new. Not editable by theuser. The status is new when the changelist iscreated, pending when it has been created but hasnot yet been submitted to the depot with p4submit, and submitted when its contents havebeen stored in the depot with p4 submit.Description:OptionsWritable,mandatoryTextual description of changelist. This value mustbe changed before submission, and cannot bechanged after submission, except by the <strong>Perforce</strong>superuser.Jobs: List A list of jobs that are fixed by this changelist. Thelist of jobs that appears when the form is firstdisplayed is controlled by the p4 user form’sJobView: setting. Jobs may be deleted from oradded to this list.Files: List The list of files being submitted in this changelist.Files may be deleted from this list, and files that arefound in the default changelist can be added.-d Delete the changelist. This is usually allowed only with pendingchangelists that contain no files, but the superuser can deletechangelists under other circumstances with the addition of the -fflag.-f Force flag. Allows the description of a submitted changelist to beedited. Editing a submitted changelist requires admin or superaccess.-f -d Forcibly delete a previously submitted changelist. Only a <strong>Perforce</strong>administrator or superuser can use this command, and the changelistmust have had all of its files removed from the system with p4obliterate.-o Write a changelist description to standard output.-i Read a changelist description from standard input.
