We are currently seeking a homestay placement for Shunsuke, beginning as soon as possible until 20 December.Key requirements of the program involve providing Shunsuke with a bedroom of his own, breakfast and dinner. In return, host families will receive a small allowance to cover nominalexpenses, but more importantly will participate in a wonderful sharing of cultures.Shunsuke has come to Tasmania as part of the Japanese Assistant Teacher Scheme facilitatedby UTAS. As such he is required to meet the occasional weekend commitment at theuniversity. We are therefore seeking a home stay placement for Shunsuke in theHobart/Eastern Shore areas in order for him to travel to and from the university and schoolwith relative ease. Shunsuke is familiar with our public transport system and is willing to useit to get to and from his sporting commitments and UTAS, providing he is able to access alocal bus route – particularly on a weekend.2
