This could be yourchild's tutor, the <strong>School</strong> Counsellor, Lyn Tunbridge, Anne Lynch or Tony Barrett.Jean Yeates Writing Prize<strong>The</strong> winners in this year's Jean Yeates Prize were announced at Assembly last Thursday.Lydia Birch won first place with her short story <strong>The</strong> Glass Cage and Anita Corrigan wasrunner-up. <strong>The</strong> adjudicator for the Jean Yeates Prize must always be a <strong>Friends'</strong> Old Scholar;this year's judge was acclaimed young writer Favel Parret, who now lives in Victoria. Favelcommented that “All of the entries were outstanding."5
