This year’stheme—Knights Around the World—helped transport attendees to a magicalplace, where beautiful baskets and specialgift items were neatly arranged amidstflags and decorations from foreign lands. The evening began with a cocktail hourand silent auction, where the most popularitems were the homeroom baskets thatvaried in theme from single-cup coffeemakers to designer purses and spa packages. The guests enjoyed a three-course dinnerin the main ballroom and a fast-pacedlive auction where vacation homes, specialschool packages, and a reserved pew atgraduation created added excitement. Oneof the highlights of the evening was thepresence of Sir Lancelot, the miniatureEnglish Bulldog, who was auctioned offto the highest bidder.
