Sister Maureen Christopher chats with recent graduates at pizza party.Class of 1991 ReunionMore than 100 members and guests of the class of 1991gathered at Clyde’s Tysons Corner on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011for their 20-year reunion. Attendees were welcomed by thereunion committee, which included Danielle Pindell Plewa,Richard Boone, Allison Frischkorn Beach and Anna-LisaSchneider. The night officially began with a prayer of thanksgivingfor friendships and memories, and blessings overfamily members, over those who could not make it or havepassed on. The evening menu included passed hors d’oeuvres,an open bar, and a pasta bar. Those in attendance hugged,laughed and introduced spouses and significant others andshowed off pictures of children. The group danced the nightaway, many staying until the 1 a.m. closing. The party unofficiallycontinued outside and in one of the nearby hotels.Young AlumniPizza PartyEvery year on the Wednesday beforeThanksgiving, <strong>Bishop</strong> O’Connell opensits doors to recent graduates, invitingthem to gather in the cafeteria for aninformal pizza lunch. Their event was celebrated at the Hyatt RegencyDulles. A great turn-out of long time friends came for the fun with at least 75 graduates in attendance. Some even draggedtheir spouses along! The evening began with a cocktail party, and was followed with dinner and dancing. The night was sucha success that another mini-reunion was held on February 25th! Go DJO Class of ’81! See you again soon.17
