Dora hasdone a tremendous amount of work to makeit so – you will get a full report in the nextissue of TUI News.I must apologise for an error I made in thelast issue, we are not twenty-five years old weare only twenty-one years old and we intendto make a special occasion of it in Killarney.Should you miss Killarney don’t be too upsetas we are arranging a super five night autumnbreak in Westport more about that in thenext issue.For some time now the RMA has had adifficulty with the Executive of the TUI.I have not written about it as the matterrequires more light than heat, like parentsfighting it is best dealt with at home. Thematter is being dealt with and hopefully itwill be resolved soon. As you may know theExecutive proposed a motion at Congressto declare a retired member an AssociateMember of the TUI, at present a retiredmember is a full Member of TUI even thoughthey pay no subscription to the union. Themotion being a change in the Constitutionrequired a two-thirds majority, and themotion was defeated.RMA VISIT DOWNPATRICKCould I make a request that when you phoneme and leave a number that you speak thenumber slowly and repeat it, many calls Ireceive I cannot make out the number andhence cannot return the call.Don’t forget to make a claim for theIncome Continuance Scheme if you haveover subscribed.Christy Conville,Secretary, RMA.ST.
