STES provides support in managing roles andresponsibilities, tracking issues, providing a standard source for training,providing a central location for links to policies and web-sites related to the programsand automated wizards to support the program personnel in theirjobs. For the Scientific and Technical Information (STINFO) program, STES provides astandard web-based submittal point for all Air Force data (e-Gov, ResearchSummaries, Technical Reports, etc.) provided to the DefenseTechnical Information Center (DTIC) and a tool to assist in federated topicalsearches.
