(MINISTRY OF HOME AFFAIRS)GOVERNMENT OF INDIAIt is proposed to fill up 19 posts of Accountant (Pay Band Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4200/-on deputation basis in IB..The selected candidates may be posted anywhere in India. However they arelikely to be posted at Dibrugarh, Jaipur, Jammu, Kolkata,Shimla,Varansai, Leh, Patna, Bhopal,Srinagar ,Itanagar and IB Hqrs. The eligibility conditions for deputation to the post of Accountant are asfollows: -I) EligibilityOfficers under Central Government: -a)(i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or(ii) With six years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regularbasis in post in the Grade Pay RS.2800 or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; or(iii) With ten years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regularbasis in the Grade Pay Rs.2400 or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; andb) Possessing anyone of the following qualification-(i) A pass in Subordinate Accounts Service or equivalent examination conducted by theorganized Accounts Department of the Central Govemment.(ii) Training in Cash and Accounts worK in the Institute of Secretariat Training and Managementand 03 years experience in cash, accounts and bUdget work.II) TenurePeriod of deputation including period of deputation in another ex cadre post held immediatelypreceding this appointment in the same or some other organization or department of the CentralGovemment shall not exceed three years. The initial deputation will be for 3 years extendable uptO5 yearson year to year basis.NOTE 1: The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation or absorption shall be notexceeding fifty- six years as on the closing date of receipt of application.NOTE 2: For the purpose of deputation, the service rendered on a regular basis by an officer priorto 1 st January 2006 or the date from which the revised pay structure based on Sixth Central PayCommission recommendations has been extended, shall be deemed to be services rendered in thecorresponding grade payor pay scale extended based on recommendations of the 6 th CPC except wherethere has been merger of more than one pre-revised scale of pay into one grade with a common grade payor pay scale and where this benefit will extend only for the post for which that grade payor pay scale is thenormal replacement grade without any upgradation.2. The other terms and conditions on deputation to the rank of Accountant shall be govemed by theDOP&T OM NO.6.8.2009-Estt(Pay)-II dated 17.06.2010 and as amended from time to time.3. The candidates selected for deputation will be considered for absorption in IB on completingsanctioned /extended deputation tenure, on the basis of performance, SUbjectto his willingness,'NOC' ofparent and borrowing offices.4.
