It isresistant to the most commonly used chemicals, but it may spot ordarken on the top surface. In such cases, it is easily buffed out witha conventional polishing product to bring it back to its originalshine and can be cleaned with powerful cleaning agents.Stainless Steel – 316 GradeAs belonging to the same category, this alloy aggregate comprisesof Nickel, Chrome and Molybdenum. If there is a constant presenceof humidity, the Brass section may start oxidation, resultingin a slight darkening. Surfaces can be easily restored with aconventional polishing product to bring back to its original shine.Polished BrassVulcan brass extrusions are finished with special buffing machineswhich enhance the natural shine of the material without alteringthe mechanical properties. Over time there may be a slightoxidation but this will be easily restored to its original condition bythe use of a standard polishing product.Chromed BrassThe chrome finish effect is realised through a galvanic processwhich confers a Stainless Steel like shine to a brass profile. Thevisual impact is appreciated and the overall appearance gains fromit.
