Building Your ProgramBuilding Your Program is intended to help mental health authorities,agency administrators, and Supported Employment (SE) leaders thinkthrough and develop the structure of SE programs. The first part ofthis booklet gives you background information about the SE model.This section is followed by specific information about your role inimplementing and sustaining your SE program. Although you willwork closely together to build SE programs, for ease, we separatedtips into two sections:SupportedEmployment• Tips for Mental Health Authorities; and• Tips for Agency Administrators and SE Leaders.In preparing this information, we could think of no one betterto advise you than people who have worked successfully withSE programs.
