TRANSPORTATION SERVICE PROVIDER GENERAL RULESSECTION Aminimums of 20,000 pounds and greater will be considered truckload minimums. Oneminimum charge will apply to all minimum quantities if this procedure is used, and mayonly be used for PY, PJ, PZ, and DZ.7. Heavy haulers may restrict a minimum weight to one specific type of equipment bysubmitting a tender with only that equipment code listed Section A, Equipment field.TABLE CThis table is used to quote rates for a minimum number or quantity of short tons (2,000pounds), Rate Qualifier ST. Three minimums may be expressed.TABLE DThis table quotes rates as a percentage of the <strong>SDDC</strong> baseline Class 100 rates and minimumcharges. Rate Qualifier ―PQ‖ applies. Pricing under this table is for shipments in all weightcategories. In the minimum charge block, TSP must enter an across-the-board percentage,which is above, below, or equal to the minimum charges specified Class 100 Rates in thissection. TSP also have the option of entering in the block provided a percentage which isabove/below/equal to the baseline Class 100 rates for either FAK or Specific NMFC or DoDUnique Commodities. Be sure to show the applicable commodity codes in Section A,Commodity Code field. Keep in mind that the words ―Less Than Truckload‖ have noapplication in Table D of Section E.TABLE E1. This table is used to quote rates for PC, PL, PH, PZ, PG, or PY in a matrix format. Whenminimums are expressed in pounds, PH and PZ will be used. When minimums areexpressed in gallons, PG and PY will be used. Tank truck TSP may use this Table, but arerestricted to the use of PG or PY. PC and PL do not require minimums. Mileages areindicated in four columns next to weight fields that require completion.2. Fields in Table E allows rail and motor TSP to offer flat charges regardless of the weightof shipment. No other rate qualifier can be used in conjunction with this Table. Each ratequalifier has its own designated rate table format. Rail TSP when offering TOFC/COFCservice, have the option of using motor rate qualifiers PH, PZ or PL. Tank truck TSPoffering equipment code AT2 (Tank over 8,000 gallons) will use the 8,000 gallon column.3. Procedures for computing charges for Rate Qualifiers PZ and PY are explained inParagraph 5 of this section and must be followed in order for charges to be accurate.4. Rate Qualifier PH rates will be expressed in whole dollars and cents.
