Morden Hall Alpacas and Livanti Alpacas
started working together in 2003 when
they discovered their shared not only an
enormous enthusiasm for their alpacas but also a
joint desire to offer a wider professional service
to the alpaca community – without losing that
personal touch. Every visiting animal to either farm
is looked after with the same level of care and
attention as the resident herds.
Morden Hall Alpacas is situated on the borders
of Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire with Livanti
Alpacas in Buckinghamshire so by working
together, the two farms have found that they are
able to offer their clients a greater choice in all
aspects of alpaca farming. This has proved to be
particularly benefi cial when it comes to selecting
the right covering male.
Between them, the farms currently offer a total
of eight excellent males, including:
2004 BAS National Champion
There is also a good choice of colours available.
Clients can choose from a selection of white boys
as well as light fawn, dark fawn and light brown.
THE WHITE SELECTION
Livanti Cloud is the 2004 BAS National Champion
Alpaca. A proud white male born in August 2002,
expected to start working in the spring. He has a
very bright and high frequency crimp.
Morden Hall Shehan is a white male imported
from Australia who has a superbly dense even
fl eece. He won the reserve champion senior male
at the BAS National show 2004.
Livanti Brooklyn was the BAS National 2002
Junior White Male Champion. He was born in
August 2001 and has been working in 2004. He has
a wonderfully bright fl eece with defi ned crimp
Morden Hall Prospero has an incredibly bright,
white fl eece, with a broader crimp. Prospero won
reserve champion senior male at both the East of
England and the Royal Norfolk Shows in 2004
Morden Hall Bandana is an older white stud, He
has produced some excellent progeny with soft,
fi ne fl eeces. He has great presence and is strong
boned.
THE COLOURED SELECTION
Morden Hall Shakespeare is a light fawn stud
with excellent fi bre statistics. His fl eece has good
staple length and a fi ne even crimp. He was bred
at Morden Hall and started working this year.
Shakespeare was the BAS National coloured
champion at The Royal Show in 2003.
Aztec Allure is a three year old stunning dark
fawn male. His fl eece is incredibly fi ne and has a
very soft handle and fi ne even crimp.
Livanti Aries was the British Camelids 2000
Champion Alpaca. Born in 2000 he is a rich light
brown and comes from a family of fi ne fi bred
alpacas, who keep this fi neness for many years.
Aries has been working since 2003 and has
progeny to be viewed.

Under a joint ownership scheme Wessex Samurai
(medium fawn) is also available at Morden Hall at
various times throughout the year.
Both Morden Hall and Livanti Alpacas are family
run businesses. Ivan Greenaway and Liz Barlow
take care of matters at Livanti. Liz was one of
the fi rst group of alpaca judges to qualify in the
UK. Morden Hall has been run by Janet and Peter
Garner since 1997 and their daughter Sally is the
newly appointed farm manager.
Both farms will take exceptionally good care
of any animals left in their care and both offer a
selection of On Farm, Drive By and Mobile Matings.
