Especiallybecause it is an important safety measure (incaseyou don’t have a man lying around in your car’strunk). Also, asking for help from strangers can berisky.Do it in Steps:• As soon as you experience a flat tyre, slowdown and stop the car off the road to avoidtraffic jam. Also, turn on the emergencylights. Always carry a spare wheel with youfor emergencies along with a car jack and alug tool.• With the help of the lug tool, loosen the nutson the tyre. Once the tyre is loose, use thejack to raise the front or rear end of the car,high enough to remove the tyre. Make sureyou know the position of the jack under thecar (it is mentioned in the owner’s manualthebulky book you threw aside when youbought the car).• After removing the flat tyre, remove the lugnuts from it and put the flat tyre aside. Placethe spare tyre with the air valve facing youto assure the right side. Replace the lug nutsand tighten them the same way you loosenedthem. Make sure they are tightenedsecurely.• Now lower the jack slowly bringing the caron ground. Place the tools and the flat tyre inthe trunk.
