Two advertising sales companies<br />

In Italy the Mediaset Group operates through two advertising companies: Publitalia ’80 and<br />

Promoservice both of which are wholly-owned subsidiaries.<br />

Publitalia exclusively sells advertising for Mediaset channels and, overall, in <strong>2007</strong>, had a<br />

portfolio of some 1,130 clients. The top 10 key clients accounted for around 25% of sales,<br />

while the top 100 made up 71% of revenues. On the basis of its <strong>2007</strong> results, Publitalia<br />

has, according to the figures for the advertising market supplied by Nielsen Media<br />

Research, a market share of 35.7%.<br />

Promoservice is the specialised advertising sales company for the Mediaset channels<br />

broadcast on the digital terrestrial platform, Premium, Boing, Mediashopping as well as for<br />

new media, such as the internet and Mediavideo. The company also handles advertising<br />

sales for leading football clubs, including AC Milan, Inter Milan and Genoa, and television<br />

advertising sales in barter agreements.<br />
