The Chimurenga Magazine is availablefor subscription for the regular readersof it, there are online subscription formsthat one can complete in order to get acopy every 2/3 times a year on paper andmonthly on the website. For those eagerand confident people that think theirwork is worthy enough to be publishedin Chimurenga, it is advised to first reada couple of ‘back issues’ of Chimurengato get an idea of what the publication isabout and the writing style. The themeof a following issue is also available forviewing; once you have done the followingyou can submit your works or picturesvia email to Chimurenga. If your workis approved to be published you will benotified, your poetry, essay, artwork andeven photography is gladly accepted.In the latest issue of Chimurenga alternativesto the art of teaching and educationis covered. This is done throughessays, interviews, photography and artthe rigid notion of an important knowledgeis discussed by the various contributors.This issue Chimurenga 15 ispresented as a textbook and it “mimicsthe structure while gutting it”.
