The Summit also created one extra Call to Action around Inclusion. At theSummit, organisations also committed to participating on working groups to identify specific,measurable and achievable collaborative projects and ways to make them happen.The Calls to Action for 2003-5 are:qqqqqqqEvery child has access to quality preschool educationEvery new migrant and refugee to Waitakere City settles successfullyFamilies give their children a great startViolence against children and women is reducedEvery student in Waitakere leaves school with a planDevelop a culture of inclusion that fully includes all people in Waitakere CitySchools and communities working togetherThese Calls to Action have provided a gathering point for action. As of August 2003, the Callsto Action Teams have and are still identifying projects. Over 45 groups and organisations arecurrently involved with 9 projects currently in action.PAGE 35
