9.0 SUBMISSION OF BIDS<br />
A. Method of preparation and submission of bid:<br />
A.1 Bid for each tender should be submitted in Three envelops placed inside a main cover. These<br />
envelops should contain the following:<br />
Envelope Marked on the Cover Contents of Envelop<br />
First Bid Security 1. The cost of <strong>Tender</strong> form in the form of D/D payable<br />
to Accounts Officer O/o The Dy. G.M.(Trans. <strong>Mtce</strong>.)<br />
<strong>WTR</strong>. Jabalpur if downloaded from website.<br />
2. EMD<br />
Second Technical Bid 1. All <strong>Tender</strong> Documents and supporting documents,<br />
except Annexure F.<br />
Third Financial Bid 1. Annexure F only.<br />
On all envelopes the name “ Bid Security” , “ Technical Bid” or “ Financial Bid” should<br />
be clearly mentioned. The name & address of the firm should be clearly mentioned on the<br />
envelops. The three envelops should be properly sealed (with sealing wax/ PVC tape) on all the<br />
openings. These envelopes are to be placed inside an outer envelope and which is properly<br />
sealed (with sealing wax/ PVC tape on both side and middle openings). The tenders which are<br />
not submitted in above-mentioned manner will be rejected.<br />
A.2 All envelopes (3 inner & 1 outer) must bear the following:<br />
<strong>Tender</strong> for " <strong>OFC</strong> <strong>Route</strong> Maintenance " Under D.E (<strong>TM</strong>), <strong>WTR</strong>, Sagar�<br />
A.3 The tenderer is bound to all terms, conditions & specifications as detailed in the <strong>Tender</strong> documents.<br />
A.4 Any tender with conditions other than those specified in the tender documents is liable to be<br />
summarily rejected. No modification by the contractor in any of the conditions will be permitted<br />
after the tender is opened.<br />
A.5 <strong>Tender</strong>s should be dropped in person in the tender box placed in the office of D.E. (<strong>TM</strong>), <strong>WTR</strong>,<br />
Sagar before the closing (date & time) of tender as mentioned in the <strong>Tender</strong> Form. The slit of<br />
the tender box will be sealed immediately after the specified time and date for receipt of tender.<br />
Any tender presented in person after the sealing of box will not be accepted by the Divisional<br />
Engineer (<strong>TM</strong>), <strong>WTR</strong>, Sagar or by any of the subordinates or will not be allowed to be deposited<br />
in the tender box.<br />
A.6 Postponement of <strong>Tender</strong> opening: Whenever it is considered necessary to postpone the opening<br />
date of tender / <strong>Tender</strong>s, the decision will be put-up on the notice board at least one day before the<br />
original date of opening. No correspondence in black and white or in other way will be done with<br />
the tenderers who have purchased the tender documents. If the date of opening of bids is declared<br />
as holiday, the bids will be opened on the next working date at the same time and venue.<br />
10. LATE BIDS:<br />
<strong>Tender</strong>s will not be accepted after the specified time of closing of the tender and the same shall be<br />
rejected and returned unopened to the bidder. It is sole responsibility of the tenderer that he<br />
should ensure timely submission of tender.<br />
