BID OPENING AND EVALUATION:
11. OPENING OF BIDS BY THE DEPARTMENT:
11.1 The Tender Opening Committee shall open the bids in the presence of bidders or their
authorized representatives who choose to attend, on due date and time. The representatives
who have the authority letter dully signed and stamped by the by bidders will be allowed to
be present during the tender opening. The bidder/ bidder�s representatives, who are present,
shall sign an attendance register.
11.2 The Bids will be opened in the following manner:
11.2.1 The Tender Opening Committee will count the number of bids and assign serial numbers to
the bids. For example, if 10 tenders have been received the bids will be numbered as1/10, 2/10
etc. All the members will put their initial on the outer envelopes of all the bids with date.
11.2.2 The envelopes containing the tender and not properly sealed, as required vide para-9 above shall
not be opened and shall be rejected.
12. Security Deposit:
The successful tenderer will have to deposit the security amount as indicated in NOTICE
INVITING TENDER in the form of Bank Demand Draft / FDR payable to Accounts Officer
O/o DGMM WTR. Jabalpur or depositing in cash in the office of Accounts Officer WTR,
Jabalpur and, the receipt (ACG �67) in original should be deposited.
