It consistsof 12 musicians and plays an explosive mix of jazz and Balkan. In gypsymusic, life is short while the nights are long and packed with stories. Thestory of the Boban I Marko Marković Orkestar is one of a fathergradually passing the torch (and trumpet) to his son. The Macedonian Orkestar Braka Kadrieviwas the best in the eyes of many, but could not win as theywere not Serbian. The Orkestar Ekrem Mamutovićeventually took the honours.
