Area planned to improve landside access,efficiency and provide capacity for the future• Location of sites and road layout willachieve safer and more efficientmovement of the growing volumes ofcontainers and other freight.• Particular attention paid to ensuringthat sites which have a high degree ofcontainer interchange are located nextto each other.

Construction hours• Brierty is currently operating Mon-Fri from 7am-5pm• Will extend to 6 days if necessary• No plans at this stage to undertake night works• Traffic management changes to be advised in advance
Keeping the dust downWater carts and deployment ofdust monitors will assist inminimising fugitive dust fromconstruction activities
Works staged to minimise disruption
Repairs to North Mole Seawall1 week at North Mole (closure of mole required) and 3 weeks at NorthMole East (section of North Mole east road behind Rottnest Expresswill be closed for that period)Anticipating repair works in March /April.
