In keeping with the goal of our Finalswe provide a showcase to encourage and promote interest in the beginner andintermediate classes for members of CHSA. It is very exciting to realize that the popularity ofour Finals after only five years as this year it was necessary to expand our event to three daysto accommodate the many horses and riders qualified in 17 different divisions. This is justwonderful since any profits realized by the Finals go to the CHSA Scholarship Fund.In keeping with our original plans to change our venue every few years in order to give ourcompetitors an opportunity to experience different facilities around Connecticut, this year we aredelighted to be showcasing our Finals at the High Hopes Therapeutic Riding Center, Inc. in OldLyme. This lovely 126 acre riding center facility in Old Lyme, CT will provide a wonderful andeducational backdrop for CHSA’s Fifth Annual Finals.Troiano Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Colchester and Artiolo Dodge of Enfield, Subway of Milford,and Nutrena Feeds have returned as our signature sponsors again for the fifth year. Also joiningus as a Lead Sponsor is The Paddock Tack Shop of Ledyard who will be setting up a fully stockedtent on the grounds of the Finals. Subway will once again be donating lunch to the exhibitors andinstructors on all three show days, and back by popular demand, is the splendid old fashioned IceCream Socials on Saturday and Sunday sponsored by Nutrena and Ocean State Equine Associates.We appreciate your presence here today, whether as a participant, parent, trainer or spectator.Thank you for coming in the spirit of good sportsmanship.
