Reconstructing soft tissue deficienciesPER F ORM ANC E through experienceGORE-TEX ® Soft Tissue PatchStrong, effective repairSoft and conformableTrimmableLong-term performance in soft tissue repairVersatile applications

Applications:• Chest Wall Reconstruction• Diaphragmatic Hernia• Ventral Hernia• Gastroschisis• OmphaloceleStrengthThe 1mm GORE-TEX ® Soft Tissue Patch has a materialstrength of 11kg/cm, which is more than twice as strongas the most commonly used meshes (2.3-4.1 kg/cm).Regardless of the size or shape of the trimmed GORE-TEX ®Soft Tissue Patch, uniform strength is maintained. Sutureretention for the 1mm GORE-TEX ® Soft Tissue Patch (0.9kg/pin) is equivalent to or several times stronger thanthe meshes (0.32-1 kg/pin).In reconstructions where greater strength may be required(i.e. segmental repairs), use of the 2mm GORE-TEX ® SoftTissue Patch (22 kg/cm) with increased suture retentionshould be considered.HandlingSurgeons have commented that use of the GORE-TEX ® SoftTissue Patch results in easier reconstruction of wall defects. 1,2,3The GORE-TEX ® Soft Tissue Patch may be cut to size, andmaintained, regardless of size or shape. If a larger GORE-TEX ® Soft Tissue Patch is required, two maybe sutured together. GORE-TEX ® Soft Tissue Patch may betrimmed and tailored without fraying. To ensure uniformsuture retention, we recommend using the same techniquechosen for prosthesis/tissue anastomosis, oriented transverselyon the abdomen. 4GORE-TEX ® Soft Tissue Patch ConfigurationsCatalogueNumberNominalThicknessNominalWidthNominalLength1405010010 1 mm 5 cm 10 cm1405015010 1 mm 5 cm 15 cm1410015010 1 mm 10 cm 15 cm1415020010 1 mm 15 cm 20 cm1420030010 1 mm 20 cm 30 cm142603401A 1 mm 26 cm 34 * cm1305010020 2 mm 5 cm 10 cm130501002B 2 mm 5 cm 10 cm1305015020 2 mm 5 cm 15 cm1310015020 2 mm 10 cm 15 cm1315020020 2 mm 15 cm 20 cm1320030020 2 mm 20 cm 30 cm132603402A 2 mm 26 cm 34 * cm*Oval shaped1.
