2 Upcharges by quality<br />
+) Plus alloy and/or scrap-price upcharges/discounts valid on the day <strong>of</strong> dispatch (see item 7).<br />
The quality upcharges shown below are listed according to range <strong>of</strong> dimensions (plate thickness). Regardless<br />
<strong>of</strong> plate thickness, <strong>plates</strong> weighing > 25 tons are subject to the quality upcharges <strong>for</strong> the dimension range 1,<br />
as well as a EURO 75 per ton upcharge <strong>for</strong> all steel grades. In addition, the upcharges listed under item 3.3 –<br />
plate weights – also will be applied.<br />
The objective inspection contained in the additional charges is shown in the different parts.<br />
- Lot makeup necessary to meet standards and delivery conditions within a single melt (<strong>for</strong> example, per<br />
melt and 40 tons), or the necessary number <strong>of</strong> sample sets per rolling plate (at one or both ends), are<br />
included in the given quality upcharges.<br />
- During a notched-bar impact test, 3 individual samples in a single sample <strong>for</strong>m, temperature and direction<br />
will be tested.<br />
A range <strong>of</strong> possible additional requirements is listed in the various standards and delivery conditions. When<br />
the customer has no need <strong>of</strong> these additional requirements and the order contains no corresponding<br />
requirements, the product will be delivered according to the minimum applicable standards and delivery<br />
conditions. Orders with additional requirements will be calculated according to <strong>our</strong> price list.<br />
