The emission from the discharge was observed with a planegrating spectrograph and recorded by a photomultiplier tube. The obtained bands wereprecisely measured and rotationally analyzed. The merged molecular constants and theprincipal equilibrium constants for the B 1 Σ + state were calculated for the first time in therare 13 C 17 O molecule. The isotopic dependence of the B e and ω e constants werediscussed.Numerous rotational perturbations observed in the A 1 Π state in 13 C 17 O molecule havebeen identified and analyzed in detail. The suspected candidates responsible for theseirregularities were indicated by means of a graph of the rovibronic levels of theneighboring states based on the estimated term value.Fig. 1: Rotational structure of the first time analyzed 1-1 band of the B 1 Σ +- A 1 Π systemin emission spectrum of the rare 13 C 17 O isotopologue.
