• 1981 - started as Arco Solar Pte Ltd (subsidiary of<br />
Atlantic Richfield Oil Co.)<br />
• 1987 - became Showa Arco Solar Pte Ltd (joint venture<br />
with Showa Shell Oil, Japan)<br />
• 1990 - became Siemens Showa Solar Pte Ltd (Arco solar<br />
sold its solar division to Siemens)<br />
• 2002 - became Shell Solar Pte Ltd (Siemens sold solar<br />
division to Shell)<br />
