He added that through his experiences as an AQIP peer reviewer and throughhis conversations with other League for Innovation schools, he has ascertained that the highachieving institutions all have multiple initiatives and rely heavily on data and evidence tomeasure and strive for continuous quality improvement. Dr. Grove reported that <strong>JCCC</strong>’s goaltargets and potential projects are being identified, and once number targets have been clarified,benchmarking will begin. Assessment will be continuous, and those metrics will be published onthe web.LQ3: CurriculumRuth Randall provided a summary <strong>of</strong> the curriculum brought forward. New course additionswere reviewed and discussed.Bill Osborn provided a summary <strong>of</strong> the cooperative renewal agreements with the MetropolitanCommunity College District. He reported that during the Fall 2009 term, approximately 88MCC students attended <strong>JCCC</strong> while 41 <strong>JCCC</strong> students attended MCC.Other:The next Learning Quality Committee <strong>meeting</strong> is scheduled to occur on Monday, June 7, <strong>2010</strong> at8:00 a.m. in the Lytle Room, GEB 141.12
