When he joined the team in 2010, itmarked his return to the NFL following two years in the collegiate on both the collegiate and professional levels.Johnston is a veteran of 19 seasons in the NFL, beginning withTampa Bay Buccaneers, from 1987-91. He took a similar positionin 1992 on a Green Bay Packers staff that was led by currentBrowns President Mike Holmgren. Johnston served the nextseven years in that role, and was instrumental in one of the mostsuccessful periods in Packers history, one in which the team puttogether seven winning seasons, six playoff berths, three divisionchampionships, two Super Bowl appearances and one Super Bowltitle.
