Vassula Rydenwill be speaking aboutTrue Life In GodTHE INSPIRATIONS SHE’S BEEN RECEIVING FROM GOD SINCE 1985Vassula Rydén, is Greek, born in Egypt and belongs to the GreekOrthodox Church. Mother of two sons and wife of a Swedishnational she lived most of her life in Third World countries. In 1985, while living in Bangladesh, God at first approached Vassulathrough her Guardian Angel Daniel, and later, after a purificationand spiritual growth, God invited Vassula to serve Him, by transmittingHis divine words to all people. Vassula receives these inspirationsthrough the form of locutions and through interior visions.God asked her to call these prophetic messages, “True Life in God”.“True Life in God” is a divine call for all of us for a greater repentance, reconciliation, peace, love, and above all, the unity of the Church.©Vassula Ryden Copyright 2011 All Rights ReservedAvailable now in over 40 languages, the volumes of True Life inGod inspirations have thousands of loyal, serious readers whohave taken the words to heart by the grace of the Holy Spirit, bearing fruit in ministries such as the promotion of charity housesthat serve the poor named Beth Myriam (House of Mary).Since 1988, Vassula has been invited to speak in over 60 countriesand has given over 700 presentations. REV. LJUDEVIT RUPCIC, OFMTheologian, teacher of exegesis in SarajevoVassula’s experience with God is a lasting and inexhaustiblespring of wisdom, love, enthusiasm for God and the salvationof the world. For that reason the testimony is convincing, joyful, and stimulating. Besides conversion and a call that humankindshould answer love with love, there is also concern for churchunity. “Love loves you” (3/7/92) means that, in Vassula’s talksand union with God, each one of us can and is allowed to, puthimself or herself in Vassula’s place. God loves everyone inthat way. Everywhere in her writings we feel the Breath ofLove. Grace flows everywhere; the Holy Spirit is everywhere atwork, giving profusely. Everywhere one hears the Lord’s steps. On the other hand, one should reflect on where Vassula’s messagewould lead if it were put into practice. If people facedthe reality of love in God and in men, they would be led tolove God and one another. If people answered the request forprayer, the message would spread throughout the world thenote of thankfulness to God. If one accepted that there must beunity between the Christian Churches, already there would bea hope of the fulfilment of Jesus’s promise – “one fold and oneShepherd”. (Jn. 10:16). If people accepted God the way Vassularecommends, He would already be “everything in everyone”(1 Cor. 15:28). If people took seriously Vassula’s warningabout Satan, the latter would already be banished from men’shearts and form the world. If people would heed Vassula’s callto conversion, all men and women would be saints already. Ifeveryone shared in Vassula’s experiences, the personal historyof each one, and consequently the history of all humankind, would be a Song of Love.Dear Reader,God is grieving because we are rebellingagainst Him. What is man sothat the Most High spares a thoughtfor him? Yet, He does. Like a forlornfather anxious for his children Hecomes in search of us. God leans allthe way from His throne to save us.God comes to all of us, even to themost wretched, so do not shut yourdoor to His Face. The Kingdom of God does not comeas foreseen by man, and the sacrificeGod asks of us today is a changefrom within. The Lord asks fromeach one of us a repentant heart, forwe cannot deem ourselves pious andjust unless one brings the fruits of repentance.Let us open our hearts andlisten to what His Spirit is telling us.
