Management (Henley)Mvuzo Martin Mbebe joined <strong>the</strong> <strong>SABC</strong> in 2001 as <strong>the</strong> ManagingDirector of <strong>the</strong> <strong>SABC</strong>’s Sports Division. He worked part-time asa Pharmacology lecturer and Residence Programme Co-ordinatorat <strong>the</strong> University of <strong>the</strong> Western Cape (UWC). He was <strong>the</strong> firstCo-Secretary General for Athletics South Africa, and was laterappointed as <strong>the</strong> first Chief Executive Officer of <strong>the</strong> NSC.He was <strong>the</strong> Chairperson of SCSA Zone VI Marketing and FinanceCommittee. He led a delegation from ASA that successfully bidfor <strong>the</strong> World Cross-Country Championship in 1996 and was in <strong>the</strong>bidding team for <strong>the</strong> 2010 FIFA World Cup. He was <strong>the</strong> first Chef DeMission of <strong>the</strong> South African team to attend <strong>the</strong> All Africa Games in1995 and part of <strong>the</strong> management team for <strong>the</strong> first South Africanteams to attend <strong>the</strong> Commonwealth Games in Victoria in 1994as well as <strong>the</strong> World Student Games in Buffalo in 1993. He was aDirector of <strong>the</strong> Seventh All Africa Games Organising Committeein 1999, responsible for Marketing and Medical and Doping GamesServices. Mr Mbebe has served on <strong>the</strong> following Boards: UNITRAFoundation, Primedia, Africa Speaks, Thuo Investment, <strong>the</strong> Agencyand NSC Investment (Pty) Ltd. He was <strong>the</strong> Managing Director:<strong>SABC</strong> Sport for three years, after which he was promoted to GroupExecutive: Content Enterprises at <strong>the</strong> <strong>SABC</strong>.9. LULAMA MOKHOBO(Group Executive: Public Broadcasting Services)MSc (Utah State University, USA); BA and Dip Ed (University ofBotswana and Swaziland)Lulama Mokhobo joined <strong>the</strong> <strong>SABC</strong> in October 2005 as Head ofPBS TV and later became Group Executive for Public BroadcastingServices, which includes TV Channels <strong>SABC</strong>1 and <strong>SABC</strong>2, as wellas 14 terrestrial radio stations and one satellite/Internet basedradio station. Prior to this appointment she headed <strong>the</strong> publicaffairs and internal communications divisions of Eskom, <strong>the</strong> SouthAfrican Post Office and DaimlerChrysler South Africa. Ms Mokhobois <strong>the</strong> former CEO of Urban Brew Studios, LCAT Productionsand Fox Strategic Communications; was involved in <strong>the</strong> start-upoperations of <strong>the</strong> former Bop TV and was a member of <strong>the</strong> BidCommittee and later a Director of <strong>the</strong> independent free-to-airbroadcaster, eTV.She sits as a non-executive Board member on a number of bodies,including <strong>the</strong> Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund, <strong>the</strong> Peace IslandProject and <strong>the</strong> listed mining company Miranda Minerals Holdings,where she chairs Board Audit and Remuneration Committees.10. She subsequentlymoved to Eskom where she gained valuable experience as anEmployee Wellbeing Officer. She also worked as a human resourcespractitioner in <strong>the</strong> fields of training, diversity management,performance management and industrial relations. Her o<strong>the</strong>rpositions include stints as an Executive Trainee at Phillip Morrisand Kraft General Foods. She <strong>the</strong>n took up a position of Group HR,Transmission Group, at Eskom between 1995 and 2004. Dr Navesalso worked as General Manager: People Management SpecialistServices for <strong>the</strong> ABSA Group. She joined <strong>the</strong> <strong>SABC</strong> as <strong>the</strong> Directorof Human Capital Services on 1 August 2005.11. ADV. NTSIETSO MOFOKENG(Group Executive: Legal Services and Regulatory Affairs)LLM (UNISA); LLB (National University of Lesotho); BA (Law)(National University of Lesotho); ICSA Diploma in StrategicManagement and Corporate Governance (UNISA); NedbankManagement Development Programme (University of Stellenbosch);Admitted advocate (RSA and Lesotho)Ntsietso Mofokeng joined <strong>the</strong> <strong>SABC</strong> in September 2008 from <strong>the</strong>Land Bank where she had held <strong>the</strong> positions of Head of Legal,General Manager Legal Services and Recoveries and GeneralManager in <strong>the</strong> Chief Executive’s Office. Prior to joining <strong>the</strong> LandBank, she was with Nedbank Limited as team leader and seniorlegal advisor for Retail Banking.
