19) Always use <strong>the</strong> largest radius possible when you turn <strong>the</strong> aircraft. NOTE:This will decrease <strong>the</strong> side loads on <strong>the</strong> l<strong>and</strong>ing gear, <strong>and</strong> <strong>the</strong> tire wear will bedecreased.20) Again, extra care must be given to turn <strong>the</strong> aircraft due to <strong>the</strong> fuselagelength <strong>and</strong> wingspan. A minimum distance from <strong>the</strong> edge of <strong>the</strong> pavementmust be maintained to reverse <strong>the</strong> aircraft’s direction. Minimum pavementdistance is 109 feet.21) Operate <strong>the</strong> brakes to stop <strong>the</strong> aircraft.22) Set <strong>the</strong> parking brake after <strong>the</strong> aircraft has stopped.TAKEOFF1) Align aircraft with runway centreline.2) Increase power smoothly to pre-determined takeoff or flex takeoff EPR(Exhaust Pressure Ratio) based on aircraft takeoff weight (max 1.40 EPR).3) Flex T/O EPR thrust reduction must not exceed 40% of <strong>the</strong> full rated takeoffthrust.10
