To achieve individual and team targets assigned through the college's annualplanning and staff appraisal processes;Within approved income and expenditure budgets;Subject to the college's approved strategies, policies and procedures.Duties:1. To ensure the security of all buildings, grounds and property under theownership, or control of <strong>Doncaster</strong> <strong>College</strong>2. To be prepared to be on call on a rota basis, responding to securityalarm activations as necessary3. Be conversant with the working fire & intruder alarm systems, includingcarrying out fire alarm testing and fire extinguisher checks4. To work alternating shift patterns and be flexible to work variable hoursas required5. To maintain accurate written records and incident reports6. To carry out patrols/static duties as required7. To be conversant with electronic surveillance techniques and the useof modern security equipment.8. To police the car parks using clamps and warning notices to controlillegal parking. The reservation of car parking spaces for visitors9. To hold a full driving licence and be prepared to assist with drivingduties as required10. To work as part of the Estates team, working flexibly and efficientlyensuring compliance with <strong>College</strong> health and safety policies11. To be of smart and tidy appearance at all times, ensuring the uniformprovided with the post is wornPerson Specification:1. Can demonstrate relevant experience for the post2. Is willing to work flexibly to meet the requirements of the post3. Is well motivated and undertakes duties to a high standard


4. Has a pleasant manner and can communicate easily with people at alllevels5. Is able to work as a member of the Estates team6. Is available to work at weekends and public holidays7. Is physically fit and able to transport heavy furniture of equipment8. Is able to work without close supervision9. I willing to undertake training and achieve competencies if required10.
