As the unit only requires minimaldepth it is ideal for buildings with restricted ceiling voids.DescriptionThe Diffusion ZH electric heater has been designed to be integratedwithin standard 600mm x 600mm ceiling grid systems or besurface mounted with its compact casing. As the unit utilizeselectric heat this allows instant zone heating creating a pleasantworking environment.ChassisThe unit chassis shall be manufactured from 1.0mm thickgalvanised mild steel. The chassis shall have suitable integral fixingholes allowing the unit to be hung from the slab via drop rods.Surface CasingThe unit casing shall be manufactured from 1.0mm thick zintecmild steel and finished in RAL9010 white as standard. Casing doesnot need to be removed to access or hang the unit.Fan AssemblyEach fan and motor assembly shall be fitted with a continuouslyrated motor and be complete with a built in thermal overloadprotector to DIN IEC38. The external rotor motor shall be ratedto IP44 and fitted with sealed for life ball bearings and withinsulation rated to class B. The fans shall be double inlet, doublewidth centrifugal type and dynamically balanced in two planesaccording to DIN standards ISO 1940.Electric ElementOpen wire low thermal mass element manufactured from nikrothalalloy wire supported on glass string between mica support plates.Assembly is fitted with a PTC otter type thermal safety cut-out.GrilleThe grille shall be an aluminium egg create type with quick releasehinged core and finished as standard in a white powder coatRAL9010. All components are accessed via the grille.ControlsThe unit shall be suppliedcomplete with a remote switchplate housing single speedfan and two heat settings(low – 3kw & high – 6kw).Function TestsEach unit shall be functiontested at our factory to ensurecorrect operation. All electricalcomponents shall be tested to ensure each unit and its associatedwiring complies with the 16 th edition of IEE.
