He worked inover 35 countries where he gained the respect of his peers worldwide. Rivers hasbeen involved in projects for current US President Barack Obama, former USPresidents Bush, Clinton, Reagan, Carter, and Ford, South African President NelsonMandela, royalty, dignitaries, countless celebrities, and top business executivesthroughout the world.Among Rivers’ prized collection of honors are the 2009 US CongressionalRecognition of Outstanding and Invaluable Service to the Community and the 2004Businessman of the Year recognition from former President of the US, George W.Bush. The epitome of his achievements is the honorable Doctorate Degreepresented to him by Johnson & Wales University in 1995.Empowerment has been the forefront of Rivers’ commitment in enhancing thecommunities he is present in. Apart from his current humanitarian effort in Africa, hehas twice co-chaired the Info World Summit in South Africa and participated in thefirst World Cooks Tour for Hunger in Johannesburg in 1993.As of today, Rivers heads Inglur, a company that owns a USDA Plant in CentralFlorida (USA), numerous restaurants, lounges, and retail outlets throughout the US,mining concessions in Africa, infrastructure improvement in Saudi Arabia, and hasan array of additional partnerships, development and consulting projectsinternationally.
