<strong>Anti</strong>-<strong>Litter</strong> <strong>Video</strong> <strong>Contest</strong>Theme: “A <strong>Litter</strong> Free Orange County”Submission Guidelines1. Participation is limited to current high school students in Orange County PublicSchools.2. Total video length is not to exceed 5 minutes. On the video, please be sure to includethe attached entry form.3. Students and faculty in video must sign the “A <strong>Litter</strong> Free Orange County” pledge onlineat www.ocfl.net/Neighborhoods.‣ Extra points will be given to the high school with the most pledges signed online.4. The video must be viewable by all audiences; "G" rating.5. Only one submission per school.6. <strong>Video</strong> specifications‣ 5 minutes maximum in length‣ MP4, MPEG, MOV, MPG, MPEG or WMV format in DV or higher quality<strong>Contest</strong> Deadlines: The contest begins April 6, 2013. The video submission deadline is May 17,2013.Follow copyright laws: Be sure that you have permission to use any music, video, or animationthat appears in your video.Judging Criteria: All videos in all categories will be judged on the following criteria:1. Content: Is the "message" engaging and appropriate to the theme of the contest?‣ Be sure the content of your video addresses the theme “A <strong>Litter</strong> Free OrangeCounty”.‣ The content should be appropriate for all audiences .e. a "G" rating.2. Creativity: Is the idea shared innovative and creative?‣ We are looking to see how your school and campus will be litter free and helpsend the message to keep Orange County litter free.‣ Your video should show why having a clean campus is important.3. Effect: Was the overall effect achieved in communicating to the audience?‣ We recommend that your group watches the video to determine how well theschool communicated its message.‣ Ask yourself: Are the voices too loud or too soft? Is the speech too fast or too slow? Are any flashcards or pictures easy to read and see? Is the message appropriate for all audiences i.e. "G" rating?Grand Prize: New landscaping for the school, video featured on Orange County’s facebook page, andOrange County’s website.Submissions that do not meet these guidelines will not be considered.
