He has been featuredas a soloist during the‘Rutgers in New York’ seriesat the Blue Note Jazz Club inNew York City.Jerrold strives for thehigh melodic ideals of tenorgiants such as Sonny Rollinsand Joe Henderson,saxophonists who put a wellplacednote ahead of a sheetof sound.Looking beyond hisimmersed time on the eastJohn Taylor - bassGord Graber - drumscoast, he is focused ontouring, recording his ownmusic and expanding hissideman activities.
