(LDS), <strong>Louisiana</strong> Army National Guard, Baas CapitalLLC, Dentsply Caulk, Brasseler USA, Master-Tech, Inc.and CAPTEK, we were able to keep <strong>the</strong> registration fees at<strong>the</strong> low cost <strong>of</strong> $295 for LDA members!After attending courses from 8 a.m. ton each day, participants soaked up <strong>the</strong>d and sun, as well as enjoyed tennis, golf,ater park and even shopping at <strong>the</strong> localet mall. And, after proving to be successful07, <strong>the</strong> LDA hosted its Second AnnualBeach Volleyball Tournament. With eightentists and <strong>the</strong>ir family and friends <strong>of</strong> allating and lots <strong>of</strong> cheerleaders watching,<strong>the</strong> team captained by Dr. John Theriot and Dr. RoyCantrelle was victorious as volleyball champions. TheDr. David Hildebrandt team made it to <strong>the</strong> semifinalsand played in <strong>the</strong> championship game.Fending <strong>of</strong>f rain, <strong>the</strong> Family Beachside Boil was alsoa great success. Thanks to overcast wea<strong>the</strong>r and anafternoon sprinkle, it was a cooler than usual eveningevent overlooking <strong>the</strong> beach with approximately 200attendees. The party even ended with fireworks thatwere set <strong>of</strong>f on <strong>the</strong> beach by a neighboring hotel.10 LDA <strong>Journal</strong>
