APM Accreditation branding Exclusion zone and logo placementThe APM Accredited logo should always besurrounded by a pre-determined area of clearspace. This space, known as the exclusionzone, provides space for the logo to breathe. This exclusion zone should be considered aminimum. Where possible this area should beincreased. The exclusion zone – measured from theextremities of the logo – is based on aproportional unit of measurement relative tothe logo, allowing for a consistent exclusionzone at any size. The unit of measurement isthe x height of the ‘m’ from the APM logotype. The colour APM Accredited logo shouldalways be placed into white space, not on topof coloured or tinted backgrounds or images. The exclusion zone indicates the minimumarea of white space that should surround thelogo. If it is absolutely necessary to place the logoonto a coloured background the black versionof the logo should be used. Care should betaken to ensure that there is sufficient contrastbetween the logo and the background colour.APM logo exclusion zoneAPM logo placement
