FOUNDATION YEAR IN HIGHLIGHTS<br />
In October, 250 guests attended a special evening event,<br />
raising $68,000 to support The Breast <strong>Center</strong> at<br />
<strong>St</strong>. <strong>Joseph</strong> <strong>Medical</strong> <strong>Center</strong> Cancer Institute.<br />
Award-winning actress Lynn Redgrave spoke poignantly<br />
about her own experience with breast cancer.<br />
On a beautiful September day, Towson Golf &<br />
Country Club hosted 120 golfers for our<br />
21st Annual Golf Tournament. The event netted<br />
$60,000 for the new Keeler Spiritual <strong>Center</strong>.<br />
Each November, select friends of the medical center are<br />
honored at our evening Candlelight Reception of Honor,<br />
held at The Baltimore Country Club. Pictured, Donna<br />

In April, our Gala 2009: Life in Motion was held at The<br />
Hyatt Regency Baltimore. Nearly 800 people attended,<br />
netting $300,000 to support The Orthopaedic Institute.<br />
Funds raised support continuing education programs for<br />
orthopaedic nurses and facility improvements to<br />
enhance the patient experience at <strong>St</strong>. <strong>Joseph</strong>.<br />
On December 8, 2008, supporters, friends and<br />
staff members of <strong>St</strong>. <strong>Joseph</strong> <strong>Medical</strong> <strong>Center</strong> joined<br />
community leaders in celebrating the dedication of the<br />
new main entrance, Heart Institute and The Cardinal<br />
William H. Keeler Spiritual <strong>Center</strong>.
