<strong>Inter</strong> <strong>House</strong> <strong>Cross</strong>-<strong>Country</strong>:• <strong>Inter</strong> <strong>House</strong> <strong>Cross</strong> <strong>Country</strong> will take place on 3 February2012 from 13:20 pm.• Participation in <strong>Inter</strong> <strong>House</strong> <strong>Cross</strong>-<strong>Country</strong> is compulsory forall pupils in the school. Only pupils who produce doctorsnotes will be excused. No pupil will be allowed to leaveschool before the completion of the race, and pupils who failto bring kit will do punishment work during this time.Procedures• Participants will gather on the Tarmac in their houses.• All participants will be given a sticker to wear on their vestdetailing their house.• The senior race will start first followed by the Junior race 15minutes later.• At the completion of the race, participants will hand theirstickers to the scorer to score points.CourseStart: Run up the stairs next to the library• <strong>Cross</strong> the parking lot and enter the top cricket field• Circle the cricket field and exit into parking lot• Run along path to indoor cricket nets• Run past swimming pool onto Tutty Faber field• Run along fence, pass KEPS gates and onto John HurryField• Run along KEPS fence to cricket nets and exit the campusinto Fir Street


• <strong>Cross</strong> Pedestrian <strong>Cross</strong>ing and turn left• Right into St Davids Rd• Turn left onto St Patrick Rd• Left onto Ash Street• Enter school through bicycle shed gates• Complete two lapsFinish on the Tarmac• Distance is approximately 6kmPointsThere will be a Senior and Junior race. Junior is u15 and u14runners, Senior is Open, u17 and u16 runnersIn each race points will be awarded as follows:1 st - 20 points2 nd - 18 points3 rd - 16 points4 th - 14 points5 th - 12 points6 th - 10 Points7 th - 8 Points8 th - 6 Points9 th - 4 PointsIn addition; 2 points will be awarded for every runner finishingbelow 27 mins (Senior) and 29 mins (Junior). 1 point will beawarded for every runner finishing below 35 mins (Senior) and 40mins (Junior)For further information contact Mr Tee
