Lost and Found<br />
Student Services Information/27<br />
Lost or found items can be retrieved or turned in to the college information<br />
desk. Items of perceived value such as wallets, purses and jewelry are immediately<br />
forwarded to security for safekeeping. Items found are retained for 90<br />
days prior to disposal.<br />
Bulletin Boards<br />
Bulletin boards are located at various locations throughout the campus. Students<br />
who want to post an item on a bulletin board must obtain permission<br />
from the director of student activities. Posting anything on interior walls,<br />
wooden doors, or window inserts that eliminate views in or out of rooms, is<br />
not permitted.<br />
Student Organizations and Activities<br />
Student Ambassador Program<br />
The student ambassador program provides <strong>Wor</strong>-<strong>Wic</strong> students with an opportunity<br />
to serve in leadership roles on campus. Student ambassadors serve<br />
as campus representatives at college tours, open houses, new student welcome<br />
sessions and as speakers to student groups. In order to be eligible for<br />
the program, a student must:<br />
1. Have completed at least 15 credit hours at <strong>Wor</strong>-<strong>Wic</strong>;<br />
2. Have a 3.00 cumulative grade point average;<br />
3. Have a positive attitude toward the college;<br />
4. Attend mandatory orientation sessions;<br />
5. Submit an application and letter of reference from a college employee; and<br />
6. Provide 25 contact hours per semester in service to the college.<br />
Student Government Association<br />
All credit students are members of the student government association<br />
(SGA). The purpose of the SGA is to establish, promote and finance organizations<br />
and events directed toward the benefit of the students and to provide<br />
a student representative on designated college committees. The SGA operates<br />
from SGA fees generated from students at the beginning of each fall and<br />
spring semester. All organizations approved and recognized by the SGA are<br />
eligible to be considered to receive funds from the SGA. Procedures to obtain<br />
recognition include the submission of a constitution and bylaws, a list of officers,<br />
the signature of a proposed advisor and the signatures of at least five<br />
