Maryland’s Eastern Shore, both have made generous financial gifts to this<br />
scholarship fund. Applicants must be criminal justice students who are registered<br />
for six or more credit hours. Selection is based on scholastic achievement.<br />
Recipients must maintain a 2.50 grade point average.<br />
BOARD OF TRUSTEES -- The board of trustees provides a two-year, fulltuition<br />
scholarship for the most academically-talented high school senior applicant<br />
from each of the 10 public high schools and two of the four private<br />
high schools in <strong>Wor</strong>cester, <strong>Wic</strong>omico and Somerset counties. Applicants must<br />
have at least a 3.25 grade point average on an unweighted 4.0 scale, they must<br />
apply for admission to <strong>Wor</strong>-<strong>Wic</strong> before April 1 of their senior year in high<br />
school and they must complete a “Board of Trustees Scholarship Application”<br />
form. The scholarships are awarded to the applicants with the highest grade<br />
point average from each school, followed by the highest total number of credits<br />
earned and the earliest admission application. Recipients must maintain a<br />
3.00 grade point average and enroll in consecutive fall and spring semesters.<br />
Recipients can use the scholarship funds in the summer sessions as long as<br />
they do not exceed 70 credit hours.<br />
BULL -- The late Garland D. and Vivian J. Bull of Pocomoke City established<br />
a perpetual scholarship fund with a $20,000 donation to the <strong>Wor</strong>-<strong>Wic</strong> <strong>Community</strong><br />
<strong>College</strong> Foundation. Income from the endowment is awarded in the<br />
following priority order: 1) nursing students from Pocomoke City; 2) radiologic<br />
technology students from Pocomoke City; 3) nursing students from<br />
<strong>Wor</strong>cester County; 4) radiologic technology students from <strong>Wor</strong>cester County;<br />
5) nursing students from Somerset or Accomack County; and 6) radiologic<br />
technology students from Somerset or Accomack County. Selection is based
