Saves space and costsThe CES cable entry system allows water and dust-proofinsertion of a variety of cables into areas with limited spacein control cabinets, distributor boxes or devices.Optional lockingSealing frames with screw locking and lockinglatches are available. The locking latch does notrequire any tools, which makes it really quickand easy to use, even in places that are difficultto access.Further information on the productspresented here and on the world of solutionsfrom Phoenix Contact can be found atwww.phoenixcontact.net/catalogModular Terminal BlocksCLIPLINE 1Split sealing frames with metal reinforcementIdeal for industrial plug-in connectorsThe sealing frames, which can be split, provide a reliableseal and strain relief for pre-assembled cables according toDIN EN 50262. The plug-in connectors are simply led throughthe panel cutouts. Thanks to the integrated metal reinforcementof the plastic frames, only two locking elements (screwsor latches) are required on the front.By widening the standard Rittal cutouts from35 mm to 51 mm, even wide rectangularHEAVYCON industrial plug-in connectors can beswiveled through mounting panels and sealed andprovided with strain relief using the CES cableentry system.Or contact us directly.Marking Systems, Tools, andMounting MaterialCLIPLINE 2Connection Technologyfor Field Devices andField CablingPLUSCONVariable mounting optionsCable sleeves for every applicationDevice ConnectionTechnology andElectronic HousingsCOMBICONPLUSCON cabinetCES cable entry systemSleeve assemblyThe CES sealing frames can be mounted directly on standardpanel cutouts (e.g., Rittal) for industrial plug-in connectors.Snap-on frames are available to simplify on-site installation.1. Select and arrange sleeves 2. Snap sleeves into sealing frame andposition sealing frame3. Push sealing frame together and lockFast installation and a reliable sealThe gray thermoplastic sleeves exhibit a lowlevel of flammability according to UL 94 V0 andare resistant to acids and lyes. The black rubbersleeves (NBR) perform significantly better in thelong term, particularly in the event of temperaturefluctuations. The material used is halogen-free andresistant to oils, fuels, and grease. It only takes two coned sleeves to seal any cable diameter ranging from 2 to 24 mm.The coned sleeves are cut to the relevant length and pushed onto the cablesbefore the plug-in connectors are assembled. There is no longer any need to selectcorresponding slotted rubber seals on site, which can be a time-consuming process, and the reliability of the seal has been significantly improved for ratings up toIP65. Cable binders can be used to further enhance the long-term strain relief andtightness of the coned sleeves.PHOENIX CONTACT GmbH & Co.
