Responses demonstrated that 58% held a 12-month lease and 26% held amonth-to-month lease.The most common utilities for which students paid were Internet (67%), electric (60%), cable /satellite television (55%), telephone (50%), and gas (34%). In addition, 21% said that utilitieswere included in their cost of rent. The survey result showed that the average utility bill studentspaid was $100 per month.Off-campus students indicated they pay on average $830 per month per person including rentand utilities, which is $300 less than the average rental rate reported in the Off-Campus Analysis.In addition, students living in rental apartments paid on average $885 per month ($790 rent & $95utilities) and students living in rental homes paid on average $745 per month ($640 rent & $105utilities).However, the Target Market responded that they pay $1,030 per month in rent ($930 rent & $100in utilities), $200 more than the aggregate graduate student population.
