Perceptions of the populationon the groups of people frequentlydiscriminated in MoldovaDiscrimination in the context of other problemsAccording to the results of the Study, over 90% of the respondents consider that the most importantproblems for Moldova are the following: limited number of jobs, price rise, underdeveloped economy, lowretirement pensions, low access to healthcare services, high level of corruption in the public sector andpolitical instability. The problem of discrimination of certain groups of people, though consideredimportant by over 2/3 of the respondents, has been listed last but one in the list of problems, ahead of theissue of low possibilities for EU integration (see Chart 1).Chart 1.
