The applicants belonging to General category, who claim reservation under Ruralquota, have to produce a certificate issued by the competent authority confirming thatthey do not come under the purview <strong>of</strong> “creamy layer” in the prescribed form, whilesubmitting the application form, as per the Government Circular No.¸ÀPÀE:26:©¹C:2002,dtd: 6.3.2002.13. Candidates already in service (Government/Quasi Government or Private) shouldsubmit their applications through proper channel. Candidates anticipating delay insending their applications through proper channel may submit an advance copy <strong>of</strong>the application along with the processing fee (original DD). The original applicationduly forwarded by the parent <strong>of</strong>fice must reach this <strong>of</strong>fice within a week after the lastdate prescribed for submission <strong>of</strong> filled in applications. Such <strong>of</strong> the candidates whodo not forward their applications through the parent <strong>of</strong>fice have to produce a NoObjection Certificate at the time <strong>of</strong> interview, failing which they will not be allowed toappear for the interview.14. The vacancies now notified are provisional and are subject to variations. The<strong>University</strong> reserves the right to fill-in any or all the vacancies.16. Filled-in applications together with copies <strong>of</strong> attested testimonials should also be sentin an envelope, superscribing on it, “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF____________________________” to THE REGISTRAR, UNIVERSITY OFHORTICULTURAL SCIENCES, SECTOR NO.60, NAVANAGAR, BAGALKOT-587 103 (KARNATAKA) on or before 1.00 pm on 06.10.2012 from the candidatesstaying in India and abroad. The candidates staying abroad may also download theapplication form from the <strong>University</strong> website (www.uhsbagalkot.edu.in) and submitthe application forms along with the relevant documents and the prescribed fee inforeign currency.17. Applications / any other documents received after the last date and also incompleteapplications will be rejected. The <strong>University</strong> is not responsible for the postal delay.18. Furnishing any false information or suppression <strong>of</strong> facts in the application form shallhold the candidate liable to action deemed fit.19. No recommendations should be forwarded to the <strong>University</strong>. Canvassing in any formamounts to disqualify the candidature.20. The selected candidates are liable to be transferred anywhere in Karnataka to theColleges/Research Stations/Extension Centres etc., coming under the <strong>University</strong>jurisdiction and also they will be coming under the New Pension Scheme as perGovernment Order No. FD(SN) 04 PET 2006, dtd. 31.03.2006 and as amended fromtime to time. However, the candidates coming under old pension scheme andworking in other farm Universities in Karnataka and who are applying for the post <strong>of</strong>Pr<strong>of</strong>essor at UHS, <strong>Bagalkot</strong>, their previous service and other benefits including3


pension will be considered as per UHS rules subject to condition that their pensionfund should be transferred from their previous employer / <strong>University</strong> to UHS, <strong>Bagalkot</strong>if their application has been forwarded through proper channel.21.
