ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION:a. For Doctoral Programme:The candidates should possess a Master Degree in M.Sc. (Hort.) / M.Sc.(Agri.) in Horticulture or itsequivalent qualification from a recognized Horticulture /Agriculture University/ Institutionsrecognized by ICAR with a minimum OGPA of not less than 2.75/4.00 or 7.00/10.00 & forSC/ST/Cat-I 2.25/4.00 6.50/10.00 or its equivalent in the above Degree Programme.b. For M.Sc.(Hort):The candidate should possess a Degree in B.Sc. (Horticulture) / B.Sc. (Agriculture) or its equivalentqualification from a recognized Horticulture / Agriculture University / Institutions recognized byICAR with a minimum OGPA of not less than 2.25/4.00 or 6.50/10.00 & for SC/ST/ Cat-I2.00/4.00 or 6.00/10.00 or its equivalent in the above Degree Programme.III. APPLICATION FORM AND PROSPECTUS:Application form, Notification and Prospectus are available only in the University Websitewww.uhsbagalkot.edu.in and can be downloaded.The candidates should send the filled-in Application alongwith all the relevant copies of Testimonials(SSLC,PUC, UG, PG marks cards, Caste & Income Certificate etc.) and D.D. as mentioned below obtained on orafter the date of admission Notification but before the last date of submission of Application. No certificate sentafter the last date for receipt of the application will be accepted except the OGPA card / PDC of qualifyingexamination for which the last date of submission will be a day earlier to the date of Entrance Test (i.e., on orbefore 27.07.2013).Filled-in application should be submitted to the Registrar, University of Horticultural Sciences,Sector No.60, Navanagar, Bagalkot-587103 on or before 22.07.2013 (5.00 pm). OTHER INFORMATION:a) Reservation of seats are made as per the State Government order in force from time to time.b) One additional seat will be allotted for Master degree programme to Kashmiri Migrants as per regulations.c) The Common Written Test for all the disciplines in M.Sc.(Hort.) & Ph.D. Programmes will be held atCollege of Horticulture, Bagalkot, Haveli Campus on 28.07.2013 at 9.00 am (Sunday) for all eligiblecandidates. The list of eligible candidates will be uploaded in University Website on 25.07.2013. No separateintimation will be sent for attending Written Test/Counseling.d ) Verification of all original documents for admission will be done during Counseling.
