B.Sc.(Hort.) degree programme: A four years Bachelor’s degree programme is offered at thefollowing constituent colleges of the University of Horticultural Sciences, Bagalkot.1. Eligibility :Should have passed two year PUC Science examination of the Karnataka Pre-University Boardor an equivalent examination with the combination of PCB with Mathematics or any science subjectsor Inter-Horticulture/Agriculture subject, scoring minimum of 45% in PCB for GM and 40% forSC/ST/CAT I is must.The candidates must have attended CET examination of current year 2012-13 for seekingthe admission.Merit for the admission is based on 50% marks of PCB in PUC II year and 50% marks ofPCB in CET conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority, Bangalore for 2012-13.Merit for the Horticulturists/Agriculturists/Agricultural Labour quota is based on 25%marks of PCB in PUC and 25% marks of PCB in CET and 50% of marks in Practical Test.3. Reservation of Seats:Excluding the All India Quota under ICAR, New Delhi, reservation of seats for variouscategories will be made in accordance with the existing reservation policy of Govt. of Karnataka.Provision is also made for admission to the Kashmiri Migrants. There is also provision to admitForeign Nationals / NRIs / Children of NRIs on payment of prescribed Institutional Economic Fees, asbeing considered by Karnataka State Horticultural/Agricultural Universities.4.
